Features

The Nikon AF Nikkor 24mm F2.8D is a compact and
lightweight wide angle prime lens compatible with Nikon’s FX (full-frame) and
DX (APS-C) DSLRs. This relatively old lens has two major selling points at this
point in time – its small size and low cost compared to the newer and faster
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24mm f/1.4G ED.

Notice that AF does not work on a Niko  D40, D40x, D60, 3×00 or 5×00 body because no mother in the camera body. Lens may be used with manual focus only. Be sure to check your camera’s lens-compatibility information before selecting a new lens.

An integrated aperture control ring enables manual control of exposure in addition to lens’ support of AE control through the camera body. For programmed auto or shutter-priority auto exposure shooting, use the minimum aperture lock lever to lock the lens aperture at f/22.
